Social Participation Support
At Inclusion Ability, Social Participation Support is about supporting you to feel more comfortable connecting with others and taking part in social life in ways that feel natural. We understand that meaningful participation does not come from forcing interaction. Instead, it grows through shared interests, confidence, and feeling supported in everyday situations.
We take the time to understand what social connection looks like for you. That might mean one-to-one support, small group activities, or joining community programs where you feel at ease. Our role is to support you to build the skills, confidence, and opportunities that help you build friendships and connections over time.
How We Support Your Social Participation
We support you in practical and realistic ways that fit into your daily life. This includes helping you recognize your current social strengths, supporting you to build confidence in conversations, and encouraging participation in activities that match your interests.
We work with you to explore social and recreational opportunities where connection can happen naturally. This may include group activities, shared hobbies, community events, or programs designed around common interests. We also support you to practice social skills in real situations, with guidance that feels calm and encouraging rather than overwhelming.
Programs and Activities
Inclusion Ability supports the Game Time LAN Party. This program is designed for individuals to play computer games together over a local network in a supported environment. The sessions focus on teamwork, communication, and building confidence through shared gaming experiences.
The program also includes opportunities to socialise and connect with others who share similar interests, helping participants build and maintain friendships in a relaxed setting.
